I’m working on a mitered square baby blanket based on the one the one in Mason Dixon knitting. In order to make the squares smaller, you use the same pattern, but only cast on 48 stitches and start at row 21.
It is so much fun to knit with color! The current current pink and purple combination that I’m working on reminds me of My Little Ponies, and also the Velcro sneakers I wore in Kindergarten.
Aside from this knitting, you may have been wondering where in the heck I’ve been! Well, we just moved from Denver to our new home in a small town in Western Denver. We’ve only been here one week and are still settling in. And meanwhile, I’m almost 18 weeks pregnant! And whooo-boy am I tired!

Is this the first you’re letting on about being pregnant?! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I wish I could knit better. I should probably give it a little more practice.

Thank you. ; )
I’ve mentioned that I’m pregnant here and there, but I’ve been kind of low key about it. I suppose it’s been an easy pregnancy, barely any morning sickness, so there hasn’t been a whole lot to talk about. I’m hoping to do some deep thinking and to post about my pregnancy thoughts, hopes, and fears in the future as my belly grows.
Knitting is great! It’s surprisingly easy – though, I think crocheting might be easier. Keep giving it a try.
